The Line Up 2023' Part 2: Meet The Acts

The second year of our exclusive Cypher "The Line Up" returns with its second episode tonight. We are excited to present 15 of the best artists we have come across in the past few years. The Line Up is not only set to identify the most promising acts of the year but also acts that are set to do great things moving on. This years Line Up has been powered by Hennessy in perfect timing for the 50 year anniversary of Hiphop. Please enjoy Hennessy responsibly. Visit http://drinkaware.ie for more info.
Celine is first up. We had witnessed her on Simbas Den and knew she was an artist that had to be on this line up. Celine's cadence flow and wordplay carries her as she stands point centre with very self determined and authoritative lyrics in a male dominated cypher.

Smilez comes straight after Celine with a catchy and cold verse. The past few years has been bittersweet for the Dublin rapper and he never shys away from this in his music.

A successful mixtape launch this year and a few appearances on a few podcasts/ shows in 2023 such as The Predrinks Show by ourselves, If I speak by Dongo and Get The Gist Podcast as ceritified Smilez as a name that must be mentioned when talking about promising acts in the city.

It was only right we brought in one of the Dundalk Bosses to grace the Cypher. Chuban is no stranger in the scene, Featuring in a few cuts with Reggie B, also starring in Simbas Den in an epsiode with Gatz. He comes in third in this episode with a tough, reminiscent laid back aura.
Joexxvincy also with an active year comes out of the wood works with a successful EP and launch featuring on Charge It To The Game, If I Speak, Basix Back Spill the tea and more,

Joe comes in right after Chuban with his signature cool suave flow giving a shout out to Irish pod personalities, MMA names and football players. Listen up or you might miss the wordplay.
We still can't get the "Crease in the new Diors, now I need Jordan 4s" out of our heads. AO had to be on this line up seeing how he performed on "Crease". Hailing from Drogheda, The rapper adds to the rhetoric on "talent being in the waters"

AO is the last to enter the cypher and delivers and dark, cold, flow with various wordplay you wouldn't want to miss.
