These songs are dedicated to everyone; whether you are boo’d up, in a long distance relationship or flying solo. This 32-track playlist is made up of our favourite love songs from Irish Urban artists both old and new. You will be able to dance, cuddle and maybe even have a cry so get your simp mode activated and press play.
In 2020, Jordan Adetunji created the ultimate love sound track with his project, The R&B Love Files: Quarantine. This body of work is dedicated to love and is a key reminder that even though we may be kept apart, we are still connected. Some of us are lucky enough to spend time with our s/o despite the current climate for the rest, these songs leave us reminiscing and longing for the next time we get to see bae.
Fortúne Igiebor linked up with singer Danz, and producer Kwangz to release a track especially for St. Valentine’s Day. Tough Love is not your typical love song it deals with the complications of dating in the 21st century. The guys sing about longing to be with just one person but fear getting their hearts broken as no one wants to “settle down” these days.
Joy Crooks and Jafaris serenade us with their track Early. Kaé tells us no one will "Love You Like I Do" and we even revisited T.E.D’s, Shawty, from 2017.
Did we miss anything? get in touch with us on our socials if you were expecting that certain song that made you feel a certain way.
So whatever you’re up to this Valentine’s Day, enjoy x
