Slimoweekly cover update: Offica, Sello and more from this month

Updated: Oct 1

September started off quiet but we are ending it with a mash up of exciting moves from different Irish artists + a ton of music from very vibrant and different genres. The cover to end this month would have to be given to Drogheda's finest Offica for this collab with a Nigerian champion and the kokomaster himself, D'banj.

"O Di Dan" is a fusion of a timeless party essential rhythm "Oliver Twist" by Dbanj with Offica's raw style and energy on production. It is a match that works very well and would do magic in the Irish community overtime. Looking forward to the music video and everything that would be accompanying it from both Offica and the A92 collective.

Sello has been releasing singles from his new tape as it seems the album has been pushed further. We are although very satisfied (for now) with this brand new banger "Mia Khalifa". Just when we thought his energy, charisma and confidence couldn't outshine is previous work. Mia Khalifa intertwines Sello's already ridiculous catchy and engaging flow with a stronger Dublin accent that almost sounds Jamaican?!. Go listen for yourself!

Two pretty awesome EPs were released this month! Maybe more but we are only aware of two, get in touch if there's more but; Matt O, from Tebirex releases "MESSER" which is pretty self explanatory after listening to the tape. As a first solo tape, it does a good job of introducing Matt as the artist showing vulnerability in a very beautiful way. The concept and writing on this tape is very clever and witty with all the formulas of what you'd expect from one half of the Tebirex duo. "SOMETHING NEW" is a fave right now and has been added to the playlist. Go listen!

Tomike doesn't dissapoint with her latest EP. We were only aware about this tape but after a quick listen, we love the feel. the production and vocals are A1. A favourite right now is "Aren't Up for debate" which has been added to the Slimoweekly.

Alot more tracks from F3mii, Dbo Fundz, the Gliders and more are added to the playlist be sure to check it out, like, follow us on all social platforms and keep us posted on any songs or releases we may have missed!
