Pee Gee Releases Afro-fusion EP 'Genesis'

Dublin based artist Pee Gee stepped onto the Irish music scene in 2020. He immediately set the tone with tracks like “Make Dem Bounce” and “Mafia Mind” featuring the much loved Alicia Raye and Proudy. Pee Gee gained great attraction and support from singles released in 2020 but he knew it was time for something different. He levelled up and enhanced his sound to bring us debut EP “Genesis”, released on Friday, 2nd July 2021.

Having been born and raised in Nigeria, Pee Gee is determined to let his African Roots shine through his music. While he is doing this by means of determination to take a piece of his home everywhere he goes, he has also set himself apart from the rest by presenting us with an Afro-fusion sound. Pee Gee takes inspiration from artists such as Burna Boy and Wizkid. Watching these artists bring Afrobeat to mainstream media has encouraged Pee Gee to keep pushing and make Afrobeat a household sound in Ireland.

'Genesis' is an 8 track EP that is carefully pieced together to create an effortless flow throughout the project and make for easy listening.
