Slight Motif
Leading up to the end of the year: The Slimo Weekly, updated with brand new sounds
2020 was the year that we expected the most but received the least. In a year when we're forced to reflect and re-evaluate with everyone needing downtime (including us), it is time for us to come back stronger than ever.
This edition of Slimo Weekly both recaps and expresses our time over the last 6 months. During this period we have experienced heightened emotions and dealt with multiple social uprisings but one thing we have not forgotten was the music.

This weeks cover features a very prominent Offica, who has been making waves for a while now. With a few singles, features, international movements and charity work, Offica has been making a great name for himself and his city. It was only right to make him cover for this one. The Drogheda Driller will be shelling it at Longitude 2021 alongside acts such as Kendrick Lamar , Asap Rocky and Megan Thee Stallion.
This playlist covers multiple genres including; Drill, Hip Hop/Trap, R&B , Afrobeats & many more. It features songs that are not so new but slept on, we believe, such as the dark and melancholic "Free" by Sequence, produced by Lukefly, "W-A-B" (Weather Ain't Bad) by Eeddaayy and Ama Millier. We also have "Mademoiselle" which comes with a stunning bold video by JyellowL, produced by Chris Kabs. The playlist features pieces from new albums from familiar faces like Jafaris with new project; "I Love You But I'm In A Bad....Mood", singles from Trust It Mogul, PROD SOLO and Alicia Raye's new album "Alphabet (Irish Collaborative Tape)" and lastly singles from Dennie Valentno and Boy W1DR's joint tape "No Play Boys".
We can't forget another familiar face UNQ who just released her debut single "Tried" making it on the playlist and other Spotify playlists. Huge congrats, we can't wait to see and hear more from you.
While we're preparing to bring you new content you can enjoy tunes from; Jeorge II, R3d, Jafaris, Alicia Raye , Evans Junior, JyellowL & many more!
