Bugzy Malone and Chip Unite On New Single 'Notorious'

The King of the North Bugzy Malone kicks off the New Year in style with his latest drop ‘Notorious’ featuring Chip. The single marks an iconic moment in UK rap history, as these two rappers come together following one of the most legendary fallouts in grime history.

‘Notorious’ sees the two rappers spar on their come ups and finally put their beef to bed. The slick Capone-directed visual is a glossy celebration of just how far these two rappers have come. ‘Notorious’ marks the latest release from Bugzy’s hotly-anticipated album The Resurrection, out 12th Feb.

The Resurrection finds Bugzy at his very best. Laid over 14 fiery tracks, this body of work is full of hard-won wisdom and undiluted street delivery on an elevated level. The album is imbued with social commentary and personal experience, in Bugzy’s most powerful and accomplished project to date. ‘Notorious’ is joined on the project by the potent recent release ‘Don’t Cry’ ft. Dermot Kennedy and ‘M.E.N III’, the third instalment of his legendary M.E.N series which debuted at #18 in the singles chart, giving Bugzy his highest single chart position to date.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2015, Manchester’s Bugzy has flourished beyond the London-centric epicentre of grime and UK rap, taking on the big hitters at their own game. Armed with dexterous wordplay, an unwavering sense of self belief and a willing work ethic, Bugzy has proved time and time again that he is The King of The North. Not content with a catalogue that boasts four top ten projects; last year Bugzy launched his B Malone clothing line and made his acting debut in Guy Ritchie’s box office hit movie ‘The Gentlemen’. Bugzy continues to cement himself as a force to be reckoned with in the UK music scene and beyond.
