Blueface announces his first major UK and EU tour, 'Fan or Opp'


Platinum-selling rapper Blueface has announced details of his forthcoming UK and Ireland tour, his first major tour of the region to date, to coincide with the release of the anticipated LP ‘Fan or Opp’.

Known for unique rapping style off-beat, Blueface released his debut LP, Find the Beat, in 2020 after the viral success of his record “Thotiana.” Fast forward to 2022 and with his third major studio album ‘Fan Or Opp’ on the horizon, the LA based artist has announced he’ll be flying to Europe for his first major run of shows in UK and Ireland this April. His biggest ever run of shows thus far, the nine-date tour will kick off in Belfast on 10th April, before heading south and taking in shows in Galway, Limerick, Cork and Dublin. The 25 year old will then head over to Manchester to headline the 02 Ritz on 17th April, the Tramshed in Cardiff on the 18th April, London’s 02 Forum on the 19th before rounding off the tour in Birmingham at the 02 Institute on Wednesday 20th April. Taking in no fewer than 9 dates, the Nigerian-born Irish rapper JyellowL will be supporting throughout.

Blueface became a household name in less than a year after deciding he wanted to be a rapper. That was all due to his platinum single “Thotiana,” which was featured on his debut album Famous Cryp. The song quickly soared up streaming charts globally, amassing over 530M streams to date. Billboard called it one of the top 30 songs of 2019, while Pitchfork and The NY Times called Blueface one of the hottest artists to watch in 2019. The song peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and saw remixes by YG & Cardi B. “Thotiana” landed Blueface on the cover of Fader Magazine and profiles in the LA Times & the NY Times. He then released the EP Dirt Bag, which featured “Stop Cappin ft. The Game’,” “Bussdown (feat. Offset),” & “Daddy (feat. Rich The Kid)”. Blueface's next album,“Find The Beat,” dropped in 2020 and featured Lil Baby, Gunna, DaBaby & others. Next DDG's “Moonwalking in Calabasas (feat. Blueface) [Remix]” and the viral video getting over 68M YouTube views. Famous Cryp (Reloaded), an expanded version of the 2018 album, followed in June 2020 with tracks Other singles followed including “Finesse the Beat,” “Traphouse," “Yea Yea, & “Outside (Remix). Blueface & Og Bobby Billions released the hit “Outside (Better Days), which showcases Blueface’s musical growth and subject matter. Blueface's next album is set for early 2022 via 5th Amendment/MNRK .The album will feature singles, “Patience; “TikTok”, B!TCH#S and his newest track Chose Me.

With his third studio album and an extensive tour to come, Blueface is set for a huge 2022.
